Looking to build a super h in to a puller. I have a 300 gas head, propane mqnifold, and a 300 carb. My question is I want to run sleeveless and wondering what bore piston and rod combo on a stock crank. Thanks in advance for any input

stroke it,and have cam ground or you most likely will not be pleased with the power.just wasting money on rods that help very little.

We used a 300 block and bored it to 3 7/8s, had pins press fitted to 88 Oliver/M&W 3 7/8s pistons, (used ones), and had the block ground down near 3/8". I filled this one almost to the top. We also had to "dimple" the valve cover to get clearance for the rockers. Looking back I wish we'd not ground the block surface, used flat top pistons, and stroked it a half inch. gm

3.800 for the bore. Have the head cc'd
then get pistons custom made. This way
you can use your rods and have the
compression ratio exactly what you
want. Probably should hard block to the
bottom of the water jacket plate.
