Firestone or Titan

Looking to up my size in tires from 13.6-38 to 14.9-38. Firestone are the most expensive and the Titans are a little cheaper. Looking for some feedback on what others are using and there results. Thanks Dan

Armstrong 30 degree tires pulled pretty well. We had a couple of sets over the years. The shorter they got the better they seemed to pull on hard, well maintained tracks. gm

Haven't had good luck with titans. wouldn't spend the money for them, spend it on Firestones or one of the offbrands out there.

I've got a set on my oliver 66 12.4x38 . I wouldn't trade them for a set of firestone 12.4x38 . I also have a set of Armstrong on my farmall 450 wouldn't trade those for a set of firestones either .

Be sure to check the actual tire Height and Width ( at the Tread)..

My 15.5x38 Titans are 2 1/2" taller than my 15.5x38 Firestones (Both on 14" rims)...the Titans tread width is 1" Narrower...

I have a Firestone clone on right side and a titan on left and they are both 15.5x 38s same width and height. The only thing I have to run a little over 200 lbs. on the clone to get it bite like the Titan.

Strange....!!

I wonder if anyone can see how this can be..??

Mine are Titan ( I am sure they are "Blems" because the manufacturer.s name is ground off)..

I have always assumed it had said GoodYear...

On the 4x16" plow, both seem to be equal as far as traction is concerned..

Go with crop max they are very close to the old firestone.
I run a brand new set of crop Max on my m farmall their uncut and pull like their ain't no tomorrow

(quoted from post at 21:29:57 12/04/17) Titan owns Armstrong, just like they own Goodyear Ag.

titan does not "own" goodyear ag, titan builds tires for some goodyear codes. Goodyear inturn leases out the molds, compounding info and plates. None of that really matters though because they are still junk.
