50th Annual CTP at the National Farm Machinery Show

Just to let everyone know I created a Facebook page to share photos and stories to be included in the Championship Tractor Pull program for 2018. That page can viewed at the link below. Of course, not everyone has or likes Facebook, so I encourage you as pullers and fans to participate by other means. Info can be sent also to my email address, [email protected]. Ideally the program will have a minimum of 400 photos in it, and I, as a pulling fan first and foremost, want you guys to have ownership in whats included as much as anything I have been provided. Many of you pull antiques now but there was a time when you may have pulled or attended the CTP in its' beginnings because I see the names of pullers that I know today in a different kind of pulling. Those of you who frequent this page have a heart for the sport and I want this to be something you'll want to look at over and over again when you get a copy.

Beyond that, the CTP committee and the KEC is looking for vintage pulling tractors and pulling trucks to display at the farm show. I have pinned down three tractors but there's a desire to have a total of 12 vehicles on display that represent the entire 50 years and different classes that have run at Louisville. If you have a vintage puller that pulled at Louisville or know someone that does and might want to put it on display, contact me at the same email address.

There's also been a new class added to the show for 2018, that announcement will be coming soon.

Thank you for reading.
