MF TO35 pulling

My friend pulls a 50. His isn't stock anymore but they are the same inside. Have slow gears. Little engine has a real good head. 8 ports. Most just have 6.

We have a lot of guys that try to pull the Masseys and Fords and the smaller Allis Chalmers and even the John Deere MT's Etc. The Short rubber kills them. They are no match for the Oliver 66's and 70's with stock 38 in and the Farmall Super C's with 36 in. rubber that can get into the same weight classes. I have an 8N Ford with a HI-LO Sherman and 13.6 x 28 in rubber that has won a lot of pulls in the 2500# class, but when I get into the #3000 and 3500 classes I don't do all that well against the Olivers and Farmalls. You won't run out of power, but you have to get it to the ground.

One of the toughest to beat pullers in NH is usually on a TO 35. He has his tractor set up well, but it is mainly that he knows how to do it. He could easily take your tractor that you just placed fifth with, and come back in fifteen minutes and place first against the same guys that just beat you. I am not claiming that his TO-35 is stock because that would be foolish, but it is easy to tell that it is closer to stock than most.
