JD 830 Pulling

I"m thinking of pulling my 1959 830 in 10k class it"s a stock tractor weighs 9960 with me on it any tips on hitch placement and any other advice would be helpful, it"s got 7120 lbs on rear tires 2840 on front as I had on a axle scale also anyone build a adjustable hitch for there 830 if so any pics would be great thanks, also any other tips on pulling one of these tractors

Max legal drawbar height . Drawbar as short as possible and still be able to just dangle the front tires for the last few feet of the pull. Fire/aft weight balance to just barely dangle front tires for last few feet of pull. If pulling with a clevis on the drawbar. The tighter the for of the drawling to the drawbar hole the better.
Rear tires aired down enough for traction but not so slack to allow the rear end to squat and lower the drawbar height when pulling hard.

Why don't you come to elreno ok on August 26 we will have lots of fun.
