Scale kit

Looking to get our scale back working, found cheap livestock chute kit, called around one dealer said it wouldn't work, another didn't think it would be a problem looking for any ideas thanks

All that you need are a platform and four load cells. They have them as kits for trucks.

We already have a scale with bad loadcells wondering if a kit like this one would https://theloadcelldepot.com/shop/floor-scale-pallet-scale-kits/floor-scale-kit-animal-scale-kit/floor-scale-kit/

It looks like it probably would. It is rated for enough weight. My concern would be it's ability to stand up to the lateral force as a tractor comes up onto the platform from the ramps. But, for $275.00 how can you go wrong??

That is what one of the company said. the other guy said it would but like you said for 275 u cant beat it. u pay that much for just the indicator

we put one together last year using a kit from amston scales. 860-530-1136

Search 40000lb scale kit on google.

We built ours last year, I would have preferred double ended cells for robustness, but for the price you could beat it. Weighed tractors all day at our fair, morning and night, up to 15,000 lbs and everyone went across after they pulled too, never varied more than 100 lbs. Ours is set on a concrete pad so it sits level.
