From noon on there were heavy storms in every direction but Medoc,MO some how missed most of the rain and got the pull in..The pull had to be stopped for awhile after a mid afternoon rain shower but after working the track the pull was resumed..

The 2nd and 3rd pictures are of my 101 Massey that I built this spring..Theres parts from 17 different tractors in it...My friend Lyle had to drive the 3500 class as I couldnt make weight..He was able to get 1st place on its very first hook..I drove in the 4000 class..

There was a good turn out of pullers but more would have been there if the weather wasnt so threatning..

When do you have your pulls? I always see them posted after the fact. I live in NW AR & it would be a short drive to haul a couple of MM's up there. Where can I find info? Thanks!

Dennis, that is the Black Widow sled at Medoc. The next pull will be in Cherokee Kansas on June 24. Another dozen or so to come, including Medoc again October 14. Call Jim Freeman at 620-762-2459 or Vernie Zook at 620-762-6323 to get the rules and schedule.

The sled is based out of Columbus Kansas and has pulls around the area, including several in SW Missouri.

To go along with what Ronnie said heres the 2017 Black Widow schedule.....Theres one in Sept real close to you at Grove,OK....Come play with us..

Medoc is always a fun pull.....Nice hosts and a great bunch of pullers, some whom I've known for many years..

I am trying to get a few of us together to head over to your pull in either Chetopa or Cherokee from over here by Wichita. Do you guys have any special rules different than NATPA over there? And are your classes in 500lbs. increments? Thanks for any info. you can provide, hope to come pull with you soon. On another note, The picture of the Farmall M pulling, in the background I see my old Cockshutt 40 with chrome grille. I sold it to a guy in Lamar, Mo back in 2003 and haven't seen it around much, who owns it now? Is it still pretty competitive in Div. 3? Thanks, Brandin Peasley

Heres a picture of your old 40 Cockshutt...Ben B at Asbury,MO pulls it and its a good running tractor..In the next couple of days I'll scan the rules and post them in this thread..Be glad to have you guys come over and pull with us..We pull at 3 MPH and 5 MPH plus have Open classes at all weight...Classes start at 2500 and go up 500 lbs per class clear to 7500..

Thanks much, I've read lots of your posts and
would like to meet you. I grew up in Michigan
and watched lots of NTPA pulls back in the 80s
As a kid. Dickie Sullivan used to come up there
And pull, we went to a couple of Indy super
Pulls back in mid 80's too. Those weights and
Speeds would work great for us, I'll try to get
A little convoy headed your way soon. What's
Your entry fees at these pulls?

Here's a link to Green Country Tractor Club site here in N. E. Okla.. look at our pull schedule, We do have a pull at the Benton Co. Fair on the 12th of Aug at 4:30 that you might be interested in. Sounds close enough for you.. Info call Jim @ 918-483-7775

Heres the Black Widow rules...The entry is $10 per hook..Heres a Dickie Sullivan picture I took at Springfield,MO in 1971...The Duster 1206 was Dickies first serious puller..I wont be at the June Cherokee pull as I will have 6 tractors at the Adrian,MO tractor show..

Thanks for the rules, I will try to make the July 4th pull
In chetopa. It's good to get rolling early before it
Gets too hot anyway! I remember Dickie on his
3688 war eagle , was too young to remember his 1066.
We have a Facebook page for our club over here

Here is his 3688 that I remember, I knew he had a 1066 but wasn't aware of the 1206. Did you used to pull with Rusty Sevier? I've heard lots
of wild stories about his pulling days.
