4212 Heads on 800 Moline

Will these heads run on LP or are they for gas only? Thanks for looking.

They will run fine on LP, but are only 7.6:1 compression. If you have them off, you could mill them for more compression.

Will likely run on lp but you will get more power out of gas. That low of compression is not efficient for lp use.

Thanks for the replies...probably keep it on gas for a little longer. What heads will support LP better...it is a 800 not a 800HD.

I would leave it gas. Not much choice
on heads for a non HD. Chart shows
some that you may gain 20-30#
compression but still well under 200#.

4212 on a 800 cr,is 7.6 to 1. these are low comp.10a4229 are 9.2 to 1 are very high.
