Does any one know the dementions on the old M&W jack shaft. I have the M&W FR 1000 and I want to convert it from testing PTO HP to testing flat belt HP. Does anyone know what size flat belt pully I need and or know all the dementions I would need to build one?

I have saw them in action, testing a big old tractor. Think it was a Altmon Taylor 40-60. Anyway had a hard time pulling 60 hp. Put a 560 Farmall on and it had 70 plus. You just need a jackshaft with a pulley on one end and a 1000 rpm shaft on other. Pulley diameter doesn't make much difference if you have the slide rule. Just need pressure and rpm. But if you want it to run 1000. Have to know rpm and pulley diameter of tractor.
