Hey looking for some information I'm trying to change my wide front to a narrow front I no an 88 will work in the 1950 but can't find one, I have found a narrow front out of an 880 no power steering witch is good but not sure if it will work on the 1950 I no it won't bolt rite up but can it work with small mods or am I looking at weeks of fabrication

You will need one off of a 1650 or a 1750 your going
to want one a little heavier then the 88 plus if you
get the bigger one your power steering will bolt right
back on what weight class are you trying to get to ?
I built one for a gentleman and the lightest we got it
so far was 8700

Thanks I'm just looking to get as light as possible my brother put an 88 front in a cockshutt 1900 and it worked out good it's pretty close to the Oliver 1950 , I was hoping to get rid of the power steering so I could loose the hydrolics and anything not nessisary the problem being I couldn't find an 88 and found an 880 And didn't have the knowledge to no if the newer 880 would work but lots of searching and now have found an 88 front that should do the trick
