Pulling....195-gk Waukesha

Im trying to find out some info on the Waukesha 195-gk. The NATPA rules state no 7 bolt blocks. Is this a 7 bolt block? Ive heard the 310's are. Trying to figure out if my tractor will be legal. Thanks

I am thinking the 195 is either a 4 or
5 main engine. Be particular, though,
and read their rules carefully. At
one time they banned that engine in
all of the "lower" "divisions" .

They're saying the 310 used in the 1800 models can be used in the 88's and 880. So im guessing the 320 isnt allowed.

They are talking about the number of main bearings.
A 195 has 5. A 283-310have 7. The way I read the
updated div 3 rules you cant run a 195 in anything.
But you can run a 310 in a 88, 880. But not in a 77.
So im still unable to pull div 3.they at least got
closer to usap rules this time so I guess that's a
start.

Excuse me...1850 & 1855. I was speaking in generalities because the model of Oliver these motors came in had nothing to do with my original question.
But id like to thank those that answered it for me!

rules seem kind of bias too me if you allow a 310 why not allow a 320 which is a vintage age engine for 77.88 ,99 tractors why are they, allowing 310s but not 320s a 310 is alot newer and 7 main engine 12 port head, doesnt make sense to me. i geuse somebody on the socalled board of directors wanted to put a 310 in there tractor

I totally agree there... what I want to know now is what are the physical differences between a 310 and a 320? Can you easily tell them apart just by looking or is it something you have to look up numbers on?

Engine model number is cast into the
block. Very easy to to see and
identity. Also: the side cover panels
are different.. anyone familiar will
know the difference.

The change was proposed and voted on by the members attending the meeting. Unfortunately, not enough thought was put into the new wording and corrections that should have been (Super 99 & 195 block and heads allowance) made were not.
