any one ever put a normal 2 barrel carb on a home made intake on a john deere a ? has a 530 ci engine I was thinking about making something like this with a carb off of a car. has anyone done something like this before ?

Tim makes an aluminum adapter where you can put a JD 2 barrel on a regular single barrel manifold. The ones pictured are for single and duel barrel intake end.

DLTX two throat off a 620-30 or 720-30 will flow all the mixture you will need. It has more throttle bore area than most auto 2bbl carbs. The carb is not the weak point on these old 2 cyl. tractors. If you have a single throat then just make a two throat manifold for it.
