Rim width

I am sure this has been asked many times but here goes, I have 15.5 bfg 30 degree top cut tires pulling on medium to hard clay tracks in weight classes 4500-6000. How well would these tires work on 16" rims?

It's not "right" but won't be a problem.

I always felt that the wider your rim the higher air pressure you can run, hence, less lowering of the hitch point with a load. gm
