Well I woke this morning and realized I had been to a Tractor Pull!!! There was all kinds of records set there this week end to. The City baked a Peach Cobbler pie (pictured)to serve with the ice cream and to get into the Guinness Book of Records, I think it weighed well over a ton.
I'd estimate 300 spectators on hand and visiting Tractors from 9 states including; Tennessee, Nebraska, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Texas, Arkansas, and us Okies. making it possible for a record setting 305 hooks! and we appreciate every last one of you and hope you enjoyed it, and come pull with us again.... Thank you so much for making the trip.. The Lord blessed us with nice weather for both nites, and the pull went very well.. I don't have the words to express how much we appreciate the excellent track help.. I kinda like to single out a few tho..Howard Reed in his pull back tractor, he's is a true professional and made it possible to pull a tractor about every 2 minutes. Jeanette ran the wheels off the packer tractor both nites furnished by Clint Cunningham,and Bill Nations flagged the entire 178 hooks on Sat nite.. I should have the results/pictures posted Monday or Tuesday, that's if Sherrie don't have a writers cramp from signing up all those hooks, a good thing.. Don't she do a great job guys? Tell her.. its kinda hard to keep us all in line.. Bryan Lively and the Hook magazine was there as well appreciate and thank you Bryan. Our next Club pull is in Vinita Okla on the 30th at 6:30 hope to see you there..
