Despite 3 plus inches of rain for the week the Medoc,MO pull went off great yesterday....The track hooked good and took some power...It was sunny and humid with a temp in the low 80's..Its hosted by the Sullivan family at their farm..

1-Me pulling the 5500 Open...The sled snuffed me in 3rd gear..

2-Me taking the win in the 5 MPH 6500 class..I skied it in the 6000 class with 100 lbs on the nose...At 6500 I barely got the front up with 200 lbs on the nose..

3-Ben Browns strong WC usually finds the end of the track..It just might have jumped the hump if Ben hadn't backed out of it..

4-This lady made a fine pull on her B John Deere..

5-This WD Allis from Grove,OK hooked 10 times yesterday..He pulled the 3500,4000,4500,5000,and 5500 classes at both 3 MPH and 5 MPH...The driver was from New Mexico and was home visiting his family...

6 thru 9-We had a nice bunch of pullers make the long drive down from Perry,KS to pull with us...They brought some tough tractors and we hope that they can join us again..

10-Ben Browns UB is tough to beat..

11-Ben Brown is one busy guy at the pulls..Unloading and loading 4 tractors plus pulling a bunch of classes keeps him on the move..As the crow flies he was 5 miles from home yesterday..

12-Larry Richards making a wheels up pass on his 4010..

13-Sled owner Jim Freeman got a speeding ticket on his A John Deere..

14-Theres a Cowboy Church near the track...This is a nice friendly place to pull at..

15-Heres how wet it is just south of the track..

16-Its only May 28th and the corn is nearly shoulder high..

17-18-The Sullivan family taking care of the track maintenance..

19-A young lady from Jasper,MO making a pass on the families nice Super 88 Oliver..

20-Rich Kenyon from Monett,MO making a pass on Dennis Lloyds strong 5 Star MM..

21-J C Sullivan leaving the track after a high rpm pass on his Mod tractor..

nice pictures, wish i could been there, will be off couple months, get heart valve re paired track looks good we do enjoy the pictures

Nice pictures and it looked like you had a nice day for a pull. I was looking at sled that you pull and thought ours was old but it looks like yours is older. The sled we pull has been up dated over the years. We only pull antiques and all classes are 1960 and older and no V8s.

It was a great day for a pull...I really don't know the history of the Black Widow sled but theres several people on here that probably do....They use grousers to stop the higher horsepower tractors and trucks...The light weight tractors have no problems pulling it..

My next hook will be at Mapleton,KS on June 11th at 1 PM...They are using Kelly Starbucks Crazy Man sled which I have never pulled before...There will be classes from 3500 up to 14,500 lbs....2WD and 4WD trucks will also be pulling..

Thanks...You and your 460 were missed..I hope that your heart valve surgery goes well and that you will be back on the track later this year..
