Blacktop pulling

I built this tractor 25 years ago or so. Sold it about 18 years ago. A guy bought it this summer and looked me up for info on it. He sent me this video today. He's pulling 8750# but it will go into tne 6500#. Except for tires it hasn't changed much.

Looks like a real strong tractor....Blacktop pulling is something that I have never done or even seen in person..

How do they keep from tearing up the pavement?
Looks like on a hot day the pavement would wrinkle from the tires.
