Continental M363 engine in massey 44

Can or will a 363 go into a 44 4cyl tractor. I got this excellent running engine. Just trying to learn a bit about what it will shoe horn into. Thanks in advance

Yes, it will go in, seen several of them done. You can use the 44 bell housing and clutch but the rear mounting hole with need to move back one and you have to shorten the input shaft. Will need to find a way to get the steering shaft around the carburetor and you will need to run an electric fan because the mechanical fan will not line up with shroud correctly.

Those M series are nice running engines and will be a good fit into the 44.
