Frances Farms pulling club

If a tractor meets all requirements ,and gets thrown out because it performs a little better than the tech guy says it should what is the point of the rules ??

Ya know this is gonna open a bunch of stories about all them pullers and pulling clubs that play a little on the dicey side of the rules. If you have
to cheat to win, when did it stop being fun?

In years past: I pulled my 100% legal
tractor and did well or won numerous
classes. Got accused of cheating by
some of the competition. Later on I
found out THEY were illegal by the
rules and had the mentality that the
only way they could be beaten is if
someone else cheated more than them.
IMAGINE. THAT !!!!!

I don't think many stock tractors are 100% legal out there anymore. And unfortunately, most rules I've seen don't accurately describe what 90% of "stock" tractors really are these days.
For example, a lot of Farmall's and John Deere's have had motors rebuilt at least once since the 1950's. When it costs the same to put stepped head overbore pistons in(no block modification) vs stock flat top pistons(if you can get them), why not? Its just as safe on the farm.
Then some dude buys that tractor. Is he supposed to remove the stepped heads now? Of course not. Some people will then say its not stock. On the other hand, theres no way that tractor will compete in enhanced/modified classes against stroked tractors with or even without bored out blocks.
Point is, theres not enough flexibility with the rules in stock classes and that makes it easy to accuse anyone of cheating.

to me it sounds like joe 427 is nothing but a whiner,he has alot to say on the keyboard but doesn"t have the balls to confront the people at
the pull!! just hides behind the computer screen

To jm1456, All I did was ask a question I wasn't whining about anything. And further more DON"T act like a tough when I know Your NOT !!!!

the reason i posted what i did is because this is not the first time you post questions or comments to to get people mad.what i said is if you had any balls you would confront the people you have problems with instead of hiding behind a handle on the computer.you seem to know who i am but just in case you dont my name is joe machado and if you you think im not tough come on down i will show you different!
