Waterloo NATPA pull

I had a good time there and for the most part things went well but it looks like Jim Young needs to learn the concept of fair treatment for ALL colors(or better yet stay home)! I also wonder if the hocus-pocus electronics on his tractor needs further scrutiny. He says the rpm checker doesn't work on his tractor but yet it's ok to dq others using the same equipment. Over is over and I'm not arguing that point however when he was asked to check another tractor (that doesn't have a positive stop) he said he didn't have to if he didn't want to. That was a formal protest and should have been acted on. Also those of you that are having your rpm's read by the sled are wrong in setting them over the max because the loads brings them down during the pull. The rule is based on Hi-idle no load rpm's -PERIOD. It's too bad so many have to spend most of their time devising new ways to screw the system. Why don't you instead go, play fair, talk shop with your old friends, make some new ones and have a good time? That's what I do.

Jim Young is the reason I don't go to any NATPA pulls. Before that it was Brad Buggerman. The last one I attended He teched my tractor according to HIS interpetation instead of enforcing the rules the way they are written. What an A$$!

Mike n Mo has a POS JD.....I was at Columbia, Mo when Mike was thrown out.....Jr Crum went and got Brad. Mike was OVER by 400 PLUS RPMS trying to make his POS JS run with nromal tractors. Soooooooo, here is Mike whining again.....wahhh,,,wahh..Jim and Brad had nothing to do with him being DQ, other than enforcing rules. Mike can get on here and cry all he wants. He has been thrown out of sooo many pulls for RPMS..WHEN THEY CHECK....NOONE WANTS HIM THERE...either pull DIV 1 or Div 0...or build a REAL tractor!!! WAHHHHH

And By The Way........Mike ALWAYS gets on YTMAG and talks smack..........but at a pull he kisses butt............PUTT PUTT BANG BANG.......oops.....pullhis Deere off.....95 HP WOW!!!! He wants a Div ZERO put in for him!!!

Doesn't surprise me a bit to know that some things never change. I told them to stick there program years ago when Bill Bear got to run a head made from two cylinder heads and a longer block in his tractor and Bill Burch used his executive authority to get the RPM rules changed to his favor/brand without membership vote. NATPA needs to review there history and study there lesson. Better yet look how John Aller has ran the Sigourney pull in the past as the numbers shows fairness draws the bigger/return crowds and more tractors. It really to bad when they got allot of good things going just to let one or two screw it up for everybody else.

I know both JIM Y. and Brad B.personally, have had many dealings with both men, good honest folks. As for the rules, interpretation is up to the officials in charge, not every member.Whiners are all over, winners come with classiness and pride. No one can and ever has satisfied all people who vote, pull, drive, work or live.Get along and help the pulls be successful, not tear it all apart.

Well Mr 001122, guess I struck a nerve there, huh. I do remember getting DQ'd for RPM's, but since I was over (NOT by "400" rpm's) I didn't
whine about it. The only odd thing about that whole deal was Jr and BB RUNNING to the exit to tach my tractor, but didn't do but 2-3 others
in the class. Either do everyone, or no one. While I enjoy having some success as much as the next guy, I'm a far cry from being obsessed
by winning. I'll continue taking my POS JD to pulls where I and EVERYONE else is treated fairly, not to a dog and pony show where some
tractors get put thru the wringer at the tech station, and others just get handed their stickers without ever even driving by the tech
station. There are a LOT of great guys and gals that are a part of NATPA, and I've enjoyed their company and competition at the events I've
attended. It's too bad that a few individuals have given that organization a bad reputation to the local pullers that don't follow the
circuit, but would consider attending a NATPA pull in there area if they were convinced they would get a fair shake. If you want to call
what I stated "whining" that's fine with me. Maybe it is, or maybe it's just calling a spade a spade. Rest assured, I won't lose any sleep
because you don't like me.

Mike

This is exactly why I'd rather go to a brush pull. Simply pull your tractor go weight it up and pull in the next class. No money on the line, maybe a 2 dollar trophy or a ribbon. Do some B.S.ing with your fellow competitors, maybe indulge with a beverage or two with them. Don't we all have enough stress with our daily lives and jobs. If a tractor pull is causing you that much stress , simply don't attend it. There are plenty of good ones to go to.

You might consider Mike's A a pos but I have seen it make the finals inh the 5500 classic at Sigourney and that's not a small feat to accomplish.

So what you are saying that it is ok for jim (with a small j) to pick and choose what tractors he wants to tech in a class instead of doing everyone? What a coincidence they were all green. BTW I am not a jd person but I have a sense of fair play. You can suck his dong if you want, I'm sure he'd like it.

I pull a red tractor and got teched every time I pulled off of the track in Mason, does that mean I should be on here whining and complaining or just make sure my tractor is legal every time (like it should be no matter what is going on) and just pull and have fun.

It's pretty much like this, if you are whining about being teched then you were trying to get away with something illegal, if you weren't then why would it matter when/if you are getting teched?
