1955 John Deere 50 puller weight setup

I have a 1955 JD 50 that I will be pulling this upcoming season and just wanted to see what folks run for weights on their JD 50's for pulling. I'm running stock E class at 5000lbs and without any weight I'm around 4300 lbs, so any suggestions on weight placement would be much appreciated.
My regular puller is a 55 MM GBD and it doesn't have the "wheels up" issues that the Deeres do!
Thanks

I've attached pictures of the sled, it's a modern competition
sled.the chain is roughly 4 feet long. A bit more if you include
the clevis.

I would have a rear rack and a belly bar to hang weights off of. Since its not really short, a place to hang weights on the front isn't that important. My SM has a wide belly bar that I hang wheel weights and suitcase weights. I don't use a front rack unless I pull a short chain (36" or less) BUT Farmalls are more front heavy to begin with. You may find it necessary to hang weights off the front of the tractor however the nice thing about a belly bar is that if you put too much there and not enough in the back, you still get some of that weight to the rear tires whereas if you had a front rack in front of the front tires and you overload that, the wheels might stick to the ground and that weight then hurts you.

No one size fits all formula. Many variables will affect weight distribution needs. Deeres are light on the front so may need several hundred pounds on the front. Just have to do the trial and error thing and pay attention to pullers before you and try to estimate your needs from what you see them doing.
