SITPA meeting

We have a meeting feb 9 Tuesday night at 7pm. Members should be there, we will be discussing some rules that could impact all of us.

The things that have been discussed are weather to allow fuel injection instead of updraft carb possible adding a 4000 6 or 8 mile PH and a 6000 6MP and eliminating 7500 & 8500 and maybe open 4 cylinder class. These have all been discussed at last meeting and could be voted on at this meeting. If they are of interest to you should attend this meeting at Larry shop at 7 PM.

If we change the rule as stated last month, that allows different carbs in every class because that rule is in our general rules. It's opening a can of worms people! Wake up and think, come voice your opinion.

What do you mean BUMP. Dose this mean you don't like what the majority wanted? Waiting for you to explain.

Thought the meeting went well . I always believed you build your tractor to fit the rules not try and change the rules to fit your tractor We added some classes that should have good numbers

Good point, when I started building my tractor I built it so I could pull most places. When I added new front tank I called to see what classes allowed it before installing.

The rule really was not changed but it was that you can not run fuel injection in any of the class.

leroy I bumped it back to the top before the meeting so people would see it and attend that is what bump means if you look at the time and date it was done before the meeting

Don't know which 6 tractors you are talking about but I am sure I have a tractor to fit in any class that you might want. I asked if you did not like what the majority of the members voted for. If you wanted rule 15 changed it should have been talked about and voted on. Some of these open tractors have been pulling in these class with out fuel injection for at lest 5 years.

LCB I never said I anything about not liking how the majority voted I don't know where you got that when i said bump that was putting the post to the top before the meeting and if we pushed that rule you would not be able to pull your black tractor with the truck engine [ rule 15 says you must have the stock engine fram transmission rear end axle housing or mfg replacement ]

Pat I too didn't understand Bump. Asked my daughter what it means and googled it. We are all in agreement of rule 17 and yes after reading rule 15, some are not factory replacements. That being said they are
USAP, NATPA Legal and SITPA has excepted them for several years. Just trying to make us all understand.

Andy I did that before the meeting to get the people to show up that is what I did that for we need more participation at the meetings

I have a H and 2 M s is what I meant when I said something will fit in what ever class you make. I have top cuts and full cut tires.
