Minneapolis moline R weight

Any thing is possible! If you can pull a 880 Oliver with 18.4's in the 3500. Then a R at 3000 would be a walk in the park. We acid dipped a intake exhaust manifold not only made it flow better but lost 8 lb. You can drill you're axles. Cut bull gears in half. Make a wide front. Don't use any washers, cut all non important bolts shorter. T
1/8 in is thick enough for most covers. The list is endless.

I have one that weighs around 2900 empty with 13.9 36 tires. It has got room to lighten as well. It is for sale if interested.

Shipping weight RTU 3100, get rid of the pulley put block off plate where it was. Do your rules require a pto? Make all covers out of Alum if you can. Does it have hydraulics? Many were sold without so make it go away. What about the air cleaner? Rs don't have bull gears but you can shorten the axels. I'm working on an R want it to be close to 2800 when done. My trans/rear end top cover is alum as is the seat mount and hood. RTI axel housings 40lbs each lighter.

Getting materials around to make covers, trans, engine side, plate under radiator and all the smaller ones. Remove pto. I know my current front weight bracket is around 50 by its self. Going off memory I think it weighed 3375 with driver. Adding everything up I think I'll save, it comes up short. Might have to do rear and front wheel mods.

I don't remember but the speed shop has it. I can find out. I think is to dangerous for us. Need proper equipment.
