Farmall SM with M&W 65 crank and pistons

If I have an M&W 65 crank and Pistons on a Farmall SM, what other modifications can I do to it to increase the compression and horsepower? Would a W9 head work or would an LP head be better?

W9 head is physically to large to bolt to an m series block, a
450 gas head will work not sure about the lp head I've yet to
get my hands on One to try yet but it has the tightest
combustion chamber of all the options, if you do decide to go
that route put a thin layer of playdough on top of Pistons
torque head roll engine over by hand to and pull head back off
to make sure valves clear, good luck!

Would oversized valves or stock valves work better? If I need oversized valves, where would a good place to buy them? Also are there any
thoughts on porting the head and intake?

I couldn't tell you that because I am pulling a stock 450 but have pulled against several M's that had them and they did run pretty good.

Don't have to do anything to the cam to run murphys role rockers, they do make some difference, guys I've talked said 3hp on dyno, I can't honestly say I know because mines never been on a dyno but it's starts easier and idea better and lower than it did before them

I have an M&W 450 Engine sitting on blocks that I intend to go through. The pistons are tall enough that I am fairly certain that they will hit an LP head.
