I have a 1945 JD A and the factory starter is to week "some slight modifications😁" and I am looking for a gear reduction or a built starter any suggestions?

puttputt We use a Cummins starter changed over to 10 tooth. Crank very well. Cutting flanges down so flywheel guard will bolt up. Friend bought a G with the starter in the link below and I got it off of him to use on a B. Lynn

I put a starter off a 4430 on my G same bolt pattern and same teeth, not sure where the starter is mounted on the A but if on top may be an option.
