36 A

Member
Hello I found a 45 slant dash A . A friends uncle wants $600 said he overhauled it not to many years ago . He's pretty sick so I was thinking of getting it . Think a guy could slip in a small stroker in there and leave the pistons change the cam and do some head work . He gave my buddy a 37 B on rear steel with a 25 deere loader on it . He also has a 34 A but wants to much for that .

Small is 7.5 and goes in real easy. You will need to move your oil ring up to the bottom compression ring land. You will need to drill oil relief holes in that land. Usually drill four 1/8" between the wrist pin bosses top and bottom. I'm assuming you have aluminum pistons so your going to need to deck them back. Hopefully you have pistons with the deep plug reliefs, gives you more material to work with. There's more you will need to do to make things go round, drop me a line on my email and we can talk.
