Watched the tractor pull the other day and was disappointed While they were all sharp looking tractors they were not that bad .Tractors in our area would kick their butt

Don't judge too quick. Tough to read a track or judge sled setting from your recliner. Maybe the PBR helped your judgement!!

Lol good luck , this area n those tractors ate all damn good tractors, all have n do win . Also the area n guys on there pulling are great representatives of the sport . One last comment most of the tractors that pull agianst or with these regurally go other places n dominate their area so come on down to this area n pull it will be an eye opener for sure. , jmho lee

I live in the general area where many of these tractors are from. I know many of these pullers and are familiar with their tractors. It is a fact that many of these tractors win and or place just about EVERYWHERE they pull. This pull is 5200# with an 8mph speed limit. Many of these tractors are capable of 12-15mph or more; pulling these "professional" sleds; on a tight clay track; with a fairly short chain by most standards. Are there other "bad" tractors out there?? SURE. These guys will pull with any of them; anytime; anywhere. And remember; these are only allowed to turn a limited amount of rpm. Yes, some are able to go into the 5,000 rpm range, but antique tractors did not turn that when built, and, are not turning that now. These are not unlimited outlaw tractors. they are running original or replacement engines of the same make and configuration as original and still using an agricultural type carb. Anyone that thinks these are "pushovers"; needs to prove it.

I'd suggest you expand your area (where ever it is) and haul your stuff to Tunica, Mississippi the first weekend of December. If you think they were not that bad and tractors in your area would kick their butt, find out at Tunica. It's the biggest antique tractor pull in the world. Find out for yourself rather than sitting behind a keyboard.

I have pulled against about half of these tractors at different times and yes they are good but dc is right we have tractors here that can run with them. Charlie has come up and run with us and I go to Prinction IN and have run with them and have been beaten by them and have beat them. They are really good tractors but we have some really good tractors here in Southern Il also. As for Tunica you don't need a good tractor you need luck sandy track can pull 5000 with 18.4s in 4TH gear with my little H down there. Also go to KY indoor tracks in winter and hold my own. Now these are good tracks and take some power. They run a good pull and are really nice people to be around. Will defently go back there again this winter the GOOD LORD willing to let me.

They are all great tractors, I've pulled against some of them. They beat me. I've beat some of them. Their are tractors just as good in a lot of different places. It was fun to watch though. I thought they put on a great show. They were limited to 8mph so most of them had more to give if they needed to.

Those that run their mouth most likely never had a winning tractor. Over half the tractors that show up at a big event can win on any given day, some luck,a lot of experience, being prepared and knowing how to read the track at the time you pull.Every "DOG" has it's day, some just more than others. To be a true competitor, count no one out and pay attention to your own camp, respect goes a long way,and "KARMA" always has the final say.

Well I set up to record every time that it was said to be on and never got anything. To be said that it's the "baddest" would you not have to include anyone that wants to participate and not make it a MPH event? Just saying.
