What horsepower should i expect out of a farmall 350 that has fire crater pistons and lp head? I am hoping for 53hp.

according to Webers tractor works site fire craters are less cranking pressure so domes would be better or flat tops.
more cranking pressure equals more horsepower . in general 10 hp would be all you can hope for in my opinion . get it up to around 255 to 260 you'll be at that 53 . it will also need a jetted carb and a bigger venturi . 1/2 tall domes will get you their . 110 octane will be needed with a lp head.

I have never seen a 175" 350 make more than 45 hp even with Volbracht domed pistons unless you do head and cam work as well. Then the possibilities go up considerably.
