I posted this in the case forum but thought I would ask here also---has anyone ever pulled a
case 500--How light can you get them with pressed steel and taking a lot of non-essential cast iron off?

Personally, if I were looking at that series tractor I would look for a 900, the same tractor but with an additional 2 gears, If you go with the 500 you are locked into one or at the most two gears depending on your power level.

There are companies that make the rear hubs to accept pressed steel wheels.
