Farmall M for NATPA div. 2

Does anyone know what block, head, manifold, and carb are legal for a Farmall M in NATPA div.2? Could I run a 264 or 281 block, LP head, LP manifold, etc or am I stuck with a 248 block and 8060 head?

If you google their website I thought it gave a full list of rules. I may be wrong, thought you could find tech guys names on their home page. I assume they could answer all questions.

Good luck getting an accurate answer. The last time I attended one of their pulls, the tech guy couldn't figure out how to measure wheelie bars. The way he did it was NOT the way the rules are printed. His reasoning was "that's the way we do it in New York". I always knew New York was screwed up, but had no idea their strange ways of doing things had extended to antique tractor pulling. Heard he's gone, good riddance.

DIV. II Rule-7. ENGINE - Stock block, naturally aspirated. Exceptions: Oliver 99 GM, etc. Stock head, manifold, and carburetor (by part number). If an external part is not in the parts book or replacement parts book for that
specific tractor it cannot be used. Exception: straight exhaust pipe allowed, air filter must be used although it may be of any type. RPM - 110% of factory high idle specification (RPM used is the latest model rpm for that make of tractor). No electronic ignitions, (Exception: an electronic pickup inside the original stock distributor or magneto can be used, but distributor or magneto must maintain original appearance). No square coils, MSD coils or chrome coils allowed.

Trustee Steve Beckley is now head of the Tech. Phone: 765-618-7150 Hope this helps!
