tire pressure

I just installed a set of used 18.4x34 Good Year Radials on my Oliver 1650D. Going to a barnyard pull Sat. Tires about 40% left. Was wondering what kind of pressure would be best in tires? I have never pulled with Radials before. Track will probably be soft. 7,500# class.

12 lbs is a good starting point, let em wrinkle a bit under load and check your holes after you unhook from the sled

You might blow them up to 19 lbs. and take it out and drive it around to make sure bead is seated good and then drop them down to what you want to use.

soft tire soft track, hard tire hard track, but with low pressure you lose hitch height, but gain square inches on the ground, soft, loose, spongy is all different. On a hard pulling track you need a lot of air.But each to their own,Amount of power you have at your hand is another huge factor, less power slow speed soft tire.
