My b n governor likes to hunt while I am going down the track . I read this was from lake of fuel. Any thoughts?

There is an adjustment on it to help with that. At some point the governor spring may need to be replaced. Has nothing to do with lack of fuel, if what your describing is what I'm thinking.

on the bottom of your gov.there is an acorn nut.unscrew it.inside the nut there should be a skinny bumper screw.its probably broke and needs to be replaced.its sometimes rusted in with dirt and youll need to scrape it out.get one from bates corp.

Do you have the Governor in time?
It could also be hunting for fuel as you mentioned.
What carb are you using?
