My wife and I just returned from a great weekend of tractor pulling put on by Northeast Antique Power Association at Sunnycrest Orchards in Sharon Springs,New York. They have made a fine new 350 foot track, have a sled and operator second to none and are very eager to please. This is more like a test and tune as there is no heavy duty rules package, but there is something for everyone and as far as I can tell everyone had a good time. There is camping for any size vehicle or tent for a modest fee. There is food and a small flee market.Sunday morning features a tractor road run and pancake breakfast.Mixed in with the pulling they had a tug of war between 100 people and a John Deere 520.The P.A. system is new and the announcer is excellent. The club members are warm and welcoming and really trying to do a good job.Check this out for next fathers day weekend,I don`t think you will be disappointed. It is in beautiful country an a great place to spend a day or the weekend.I am definitely going back.
