What a Mess Pull started at 8:30. I Paid 210 dollars to sit until 4:30 to pull. It seems the people putting on the pull were doing to much when a NATPA Pull was to be held. For those of you that didn't get to the pull. Visualize the Packers playing football and on a field next to them a junior high football game going on. NATPA pullers deserve a lot more respect to have a pull at Napoleon. Another item that I forgot, the track was a nice 300 foot NTPA type site and we pulled 200 ft. so it would get over sooner.

I came away from the event with a smile, had a lot of fun and thought it was a good pull. The place was wet, not a person on earth can control that! You waited until 4:30 to pull because there was a ton of hooks. I don't understand why people are quick to stand at the sidelines and b!tch but never try to help out.

It was good to see everyone again, catch you all in Corunna.

Napoleon: Sloppy conditions all the way! Drove thru 6" of mud just to get to the track. No supervised weigh in, no weigh out. No drawbar check, no RPM check, and NO MONEY to PAY BACK for class placers!!! Ok for goof off Sunday afternoon pull- but way beneath NATPA Standards!!!
Can you say BRUSH PULL???

Yes it was muddy. Early on there was no one at the scales but when I weighed in got the 5000 and 5500 TC classes there were 2 orange shirts at the scales. I ended up 4th in one class and yes I got payback. It was my 1st summer pull and will go back for more.

Glad to hear you enjoyed your day; just going on my personal experience. The weather can be unpredictable but having supervision at the pull should not be unpredictable. Not sure how many people didn't get paid. It was unbelievable when they told me and others that they had no money available to pay out! OUCH!!

There was payback, I placed in a few classes and got money for 2 of them and not for the other 2. They ran out of cash to pay back at the trailer and said they would have Judy take care of it, she was having printer problems and that slowed down payback also, I am sure she will make it right with every one.

There was someone at the scales every time I was there, I Thought it was a good pull, the rain Friday night hindered them some and the rain before they finished the pull was nobody's fault, I believe they did as well as anyone could expect.

Always great to see people hide behind a computer screen and not use their real name to complain. As superih said, you want to go pull, have fun, and stand on the sidelines when you could put your big boy pants on and offer to help or provide input. Typical of a lot of pullers these days and almost makes me wish I'm not in the process of rebuilding to come back to play, have fun, and enjoy the comradery of fellow pullers

P.S. Real name
Justin Monroe

P.S. Justin, its not about the names, I wouldnt make this about you or your plans. This is about a pull that wasnt organized from the start. Leave out the weather, nobody could change that. NO PAYBACK?!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?

This isn't about me or my plans. It's about whining and crying and never stepping up to the plate when needed. No payback. Hmmmm, some got it some didn't? Read down below before you whine some more. I don't know the whole story, that's why I try not to assume. Because we all know what that does.
Good day

This kind of bickering is the very reason why most of the regular people who has contributed something positive has left here and went to Facebook......

this stuff goes on on facebook too. sometimes there's some not positive things that need to be discussed. unforunate but it happens.

I have never heard NATPA say they did any thing wrong and when they get called out on something instead of saying they will try to correct it they take offence. Just saying. oh by the way my name is LEROY BRAVE

Justin Monroe, with reference to your comments, it sounds like your probably the smartest person that could ever set foot on the track, so I'll give it to you straight. The reason most people don't use their real names online is that if there is a difference of opinion, you won't have to see them rolling around in the dirt trying to beat on each other at the next pull. They can be Honest. Some people can handle honest, some people can't. Conditions were rough at Napoleon. The track crew did the best they could with what they had to work with. The rest was basically all the "Honor System". When was the last time the honor system worked in any competitive sport? That can do some serious damage to the integrity of any pull! You are also holding everyone accountable that was at the pull for "not stepping up" or contributing in some way. Bottom line…you can't blame everyone else for how the pull was run. I don't know of too many guys that would refuse to help when asked. That was not an issue. I heard some guys didn't get paid. I'm betting they will probably get it later, but that doesn't say much for the people running the pull. Or, maybe that's just whining, and we all should accept that maybe they will or maybe they won't. The problem Justin, is (Accepting) something substandard and saying it's the New Normal!!
