I have Oliver 310 engine fixing up to put in a OL 77 for pulling. Plan on boring it to 4.25. If I stroke the 310 to 1-1 1/2 inches, are they any factory rods from other engines that I could consider using without having to get some made and having to wait on the builder? Appreciate any help you can give.. gene

Back in the day, I built a 7 main (283?) engine out to 4.360 X 5.125" (460 cubes) using Oliver 77 diesel rods. I had the upper oiling holes tig welded shut and used ARP fasteners in them.

Hope that helps...

If you don't already have your piston and sleeves I have a new set of steel sleeves and Ross pistons for 310 to make 4.25 bore. I'll take 925.00 plus shipping for the set. I also have a complete 310 engine I'd sell for 1200.oo it has some freeze damage to block but will be fine to hard block and use sleeves and pistons I have.If you are interested in any of the items just give me a call at 731 267 2124.
