460 vs 560

I was thinking of building a tractor just for pulling. I would keep it kind of stock but bigger pistons and loose some unwanted weight. What would be a better choice, a farmall 460 or 560 ? (Gas)

Only a 460 if you replace the motor with a 560, 706, or 806 motor. Otherwise, go with the 560.

go with the 806 , the 706 is not quite it stock.

if you are pulling lighter classes like 4500lbs- 5000lbs I would go with the 460 and 301 engine. Or put a 263 or 291 engine in. you will have more moveable weight with the 460.
