oliver 770/77 weight placement

I'm working with a 770 and I see a lot of pullers using the triangle bolt pattern ahead of the axle behind the tires for the belly weight. The problem for me is I have 15.5s and 30 in spacing, this doesn't give me enough room for bracketing there. I was thingking about mounting weight in the loader braket mount ahead of that (rectangle bolt pattern). But this looks like it might distribute weight awkwardly when the front end comes up. I do have a front bracket, and know best traction weighting is behind the seat. However I don't have much room to change classes with my limited MAYBE 55-60 horses. I'm looking at a div 2 natpa ruled class in 5500 and 6000. I don't want to stray too far from home turf in those classes so I'm not going to have much weight to throw around. But I think with proper balance and traction I could compete with hotter tractors built for higher mphs just looking to clean up smaller classes...

depends on track conditions,I use a middle bracket at the bell housing area,if you are off one weight in the middle,it is only half. !!!!!!!!!

I think they mean the weight is in the middle of the tractor, so 50% going to the back and 50% is going to the front.

right,if you needed it in front or back and missed that judgement call, being in the middle still helps either way.

Ok where its at is I believe is ahead of the main weight point of the tractor. I think it'll be fine but I just wanted a second opinion if I was ruining the balance or if it'd still be able to help traction

You should be able to squeeze adequate weight in there unless your weights are over an inch and a quarter wide.
