To anyone that has done this conversion, or one into a 460 or similar, what starter did you use? I have tried the gas starter, and even with the larger armature etc. from a 560 gas, it will barely turn it over. Tried a 656 diesel hydro starter, but it is too large in diameter and hits the torque amplifier cover hard. Is there a gear reduction starter out there that will work? Thanks for all your replies!
