IH 460 electronic distributor

What Ford or other brand distributor for electronic ignition gets used in IH 6 cylinder 301 type engines? I want to get away from the small diameter cap that the original distributor has but don't want to put the expense into a trigger/coil pack system.

I have used several GM HEI distributors in my Case builds , the bases must be fitted to your block opening, of course the length and change the drive gear, these have all been 4 cylinders but there should be GM distributors in 6 cylinder.

The distributors have a vacuum advance but I just remove it and make the advance stationary, this must be done in a way that keeps the spark/rotor in phase or you could get a situation where the spark is firing on an angle to the cap post. The HEI will drive a standard coil as is.

A HEI into the 1111411 Delco 90 Degree distributor is simple.
