How thin can I run a wet sleeve on a case 830 gas and get it to live?

I would say 1/8 inch. If you are getting custom sleeves the sleeve maker will tell you. I have spoken to the people at power bore sleeves and found them helpful and their prices are good as well.

Bore the block bigger if you want durability. Run 504 sleeves 4.625 bore. Easy to do

Better to bore block and use 504 pistons and sleeves. A lot of HP can be lost and still seem OK. Why serious motors are hard blocked.
