Question about Super c and tires

I have a Farmall Super c with a C153 engine, power is not a problem but has anyone ever changed tires size on a pulling C, 200 or 230. How about H wheels anyone ever use 38" tires and wheels if so how did you make up the differance in axles sizes (with spacers)? how about adapters for eight bolt hubs????

Any ideas would be helpful

If I remember right Moline R 9 bolt hubs will fit a super c.. Then you can use 38" tin rims. I know a 230 that runs 16.9x38's.
You could use Cap Bros 9 bolt hubs.

can get 9 bolt hubs from a variety of tractors , Moline r hubs will fit, we made a set of 9 bolt hubs I run 12.4 x38 field and roads on my 230 with stock clean 153 emails open I can send u pics

Or you can do like me and weld C wheel Tabs in a H/M Rim and bolt them fast!

Cliff, When you did those what did you do just bolt the tab onto the wheel then lay the rim up there and tack them??? It looks like a great job did you need spacers under the tabs???

Andy Taylor From Missouri has axle housings from an IH 240 Utility bolted On his "Fencerow Fugitive" Super c with the 8 bolt ag patern with 38's. I looked at his tractor last year...they look like they belong there.
