Here is the finished results of the repaired journal.

Roughed in pics. I welded over the oil hole with a mig welder, then drilled back into it when I got close to the finished size.

my welder is working fine. as i mentioned before, i have gleason wire, .035 "kastalloy" is that the same wire your using? hope its ok to ask for a lil advice. also, im thinking i can build up on one side for strokers with this machine. think thats doable?
