Best H.P. carb

I'm wanting to know if any carburetor is better than another for H.P. on a farmall c ? That bolts to stock manifold.

I like the Carter

Larger throttle plate and Vinturi.

Larger is not always better,best one is for good signal when engine pulls down,proper air bleed relief inside is better than big outside not tuned correctly.

I have always had a good luck with the carter carburetor with a little bit of improve it and venturi size in the proper jetting the carburetor is capable of producing quite a bit horsepower!

I have a Farmall C with a super C oversize kit (133cid)that makes 45 horsepower at 540 with this carburetor!

Hi Cliff thanks for the advise i have another question. Is there any way to slow down a farmall c with ring and pinion or different first gear? I need to keep my tire size the same.
