Rebuilding a IH 1066's engine with 466 parts. I need to buy a new turbo for the tractor also. Pulling in the stock classes with 140 HP, would a Schweizer 3LM466 turbo be better than the stock turbo that costs half as much? Thanks Kent

You will gain, especially if you turn up your pump some. Some guys will have them up around 200 HP in the field. A new 3lm should be about $200 more than the stock one. I just sold one to a customer. That turbo will also give you a better torque range.

Thanks for the replys. Our local stock classes only allow us to run 15 percent over nebraska tests, so we can't turn them up much. If you think it will help at stock HP, then i'll give it a try. Thanks Kent

What's the difference in them , and is it a factory replacement legal for a 3lm turbo class rule? Guess I'm sayin if u run a 3lm stock turbo class out of box is it a replacement part or is it not , thanks for any help
