stroking cost

Planning a build finally and getting some numbers together. What should a guy expect to pay to get a m crank stroked to 6.5 inch? My plan is 6.5x4.35 using stock rods.

spend a little more using custom rods and you won't have to grind the block any . there will be a lot of grinding using stock rods . rods will be 200 apiece

murphys has a nice 7 in by 4.310 set up goes in real nice with very little grinding

1200 to 1500$. I would also say if there is any way your budget would allow, get the custom rods. You will be doing lots of grinding on your block and cam without them. Good luck with your project.

There is a ready to pull M with 4.25x6.5 motor.
397CI. $7000 There was also a stroker kit that included the crankshaft for 421CI on there not long ago. The guy with the 421 kit does real nice work.

The M stroker kits on Pulloff are actually to make 451 CI motor not 421. My typo.

I don't remember its been a while I want to say 4300.00 but don't qoute me on that my be they went up but was well worth it just give him a call very nice guy to talk to you can call gary baker too he may be cheaper don't know but they are very good people to deal with
