Kill switch help?

I found an old Denny's kill-switch in my stuff that I'd like to put on a classic tractor I'm restoring but I'm not sure how to wire it in. A little help with that here? Thanks, gm

It depends if it's a normally open or a normally closed switch. Denny likes to sell normally open switch that ground the ignition system when pulled. I like to use normally closed switch so it won't hurt the ignition system. Witch is running the power wire from key switch to kill switch then to coil. So when pulled it cuts power.

You just ground it to the tractor any where and run a wire to the positive side of coil then pull it and check if it dies. If it do not put it on the negative side of coil. I have found putting it right under the seat is a good mounting point because it is out of the way and easy for the sled man to get to hook up.

PS I have them on all my tractors and had no prolem with ignation. All they are is trailer break away switchs.
