Rear wheel weights on Super-C

The ones that came with mine weighted 145#. I have a total of 4 of them that I use to pull with. The 150# would be good enough.

Bob if all you're going to do is tractor pull take off the hydraulics on the tractor and replace the back gas tank bracket with one from a Farmall a you'll save 150 pounds.

With hydraulics removed on my 1948 C, the tractor weights just over 2500# with no one sitting on it and no weights on.

I am pulling in the Farm Stock class and didn't know if removing the hydraulics would be allowed. That is good information to know. Thanks

Just remember your super C will always weigh more. 1948 was the lightest C ever.
Recently got into a bit of a tangle with someone because my wife drove our C and kicked his butt. He had a super C. We had way more weights on than he did because he's too stupid to realize a 1948 C weighs lots less than a super C. Plus he didn't have hyds removed and had wheel weights.

He thought we were cheating.

hey pf calling fred stupid is uncalled for. He is one of the most resepctfull pullers I have ever pulled with. I was not there but he was not the only one who thought you were way heavy. just saying

Hydraulic arm where a option but very few where made with out them!

Not much can be said if all the options where took off and you got copies from Case IH parts book to prove it!

My 48 C with out hydraulic or pto weight
in at 2800 no driver So you must have
light after market rims and tool box
etc striprd off to get that much lighter
than mine !

There are plenty of pics out there of that tractor at scaled pulls. I knew there would be an uproar over it here. It scales at 2680 with my 130# wife on and no weights. So you do the math. If that's wrong then the scale is wrong. It's the last time I go to any unscaled pull with this club.

I don't know the Farmalls all that well, but Fords could be purchased new without hydraulics. A friend has a 900 with the original factory Hydraulics delete/seat support. It is hard to believe that there would not have been a demand for Super Cs stripped bare.

And I didn't say who or where.

that's right you didn't sat who or where. There is more folk from our club that go on this site than you may think. I do not want to argue with you. but calling a member of our club "to stupid to know the difference'' was a little over the top. you should listen to him and ask for advice rather than fight. He probably has forgotten more about farmalls than me or you will ever know.

When someone comes up to me and starts yelling at me calling me a cheat, that isn't going to be met with a pleasant response.

Let's not forget here, clubs need members. Not the other way around.

I spend little time complaining about other peoples behavior because I know it's not gonna change. I'd suggest you do the same.
