7 JD G block

I want to go a little bigger on my G, was thinking about going 7". Where can you find a block to go that big? Does Jack still resleeve blocks? Is there grinding involved or does it slide in?

If you want a reliable 7" "G" block get one from Murphy's. Sleeve warpage and coolant leakage can be problematic with the blocks with welded-in sleeves (personal experience). Grinding on the front of the crankcase WILL be required for a 7" block to fit.

This is just me most A"s are almost 7 inch if I was doing the work and effort I would call ray at extreme tractor parts he offers a bigger block than Murphy"s and it is very nice design
