First time to pull transfer sled HELP

Hello tomorrow I am gonna go to a tractor pull with a transfer
sled I have done a lot of stone boat pulls but not sure on this
can I get some input please on gear to use and any thoughts
Tractor I am pulling is farmall 560 diesel wide front fasthitch
has 15.5 x 38 loaded tires with 15% tread 3 sets of wheel
weights per side weighs 8960 with me on it

Low gear and be ready to torque.

Depending on how sled and track is set up; you are likely in for a surprise!!!!! low gear; hope your t/a is solid.

So here we go I had to be in the 9500 pound class I took second place tried 3rd gear then had to ta was almost outta power when I spun out
I asked to pull in the 10500 class just for practice and used 2nd gear took first place
Then got in the free for all at first tractor pulled which was a Oliver 99 with Detroit i pulled second and beat him but they let him pull again and got me by 15 feet
I only weighed 8960 have no other weights all the other tractors where weighted right to the limit for each class the Oliver that out pulled me by 15 feet weighed 14500
My head is pretty swollen right now I am really happy 560 had plenty of power in 2nd gear just need more weight now I Guess

I went to a scrap yard and looked for steel. I got 70-110 lbs square steel plates that are 1.5" thick or so. Welded on little L's and they hang anywhere a suitcase weight does.
