I want to make a puller out of my ZAU and was wondering what I can do to the motor to get the most power I can out of it? How much can I bore, cam, ect? just wondering what is possible

You can make a respectable puller from a ZA. But be a lot better to start with a U302 engine. Then you are starting with 55 hp. One big thing with a ZA block is need to be able to bore from bottom and bore flush with the top. Not to many people have the tools to do this. Vic

Swap pistons & rods for U302 and bore. Use a Berry cam designed for it, LP head, and some minor port work. A U302 intake manifold needs a 90° elbow to put the U302 carb on, but that'll run much better.
