Got a 1952 g home only to find out that there is a little slop on the clutch driver on the crank and a little movement side to side on crank. odering all new clutch parts from steiners but wondering about side to side play of 1/4" or more. only going to do a little pulling and showing, any under size or do you have to fix crank to make right. when you rock pulley back and forth about 1/2" clunk, clunk. we tightened up flywheel and splines were good. dwc

That is probably why it was "For Sale"..

There are "Under-sized" clutch-drivers available but they will not fix a 1/2" unless it is far less than it sounds..

Ron.

End play in Crankshaft is taken up with the flywheel. Clutch end play is another issue. Did you have the clutch engaged ?
